Henrietta (Goncalo) Rapoza, "Honey" 87 of Tiverton, RI died on Saturday, May 24, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Arthur C. Rapoza of Tiverton. Born in Fall River, MA she was the daughter of the late Antonia (Branco) and Antonio Goncalo. A homemaker, she had also worked as a Seamstress at Sagamore Shirt and was a member of the I.L.G.W.U. She was a communicant of St. Theresa Parish. She had been a member of the Ponta Delgada Women's Auxillary where she served as President and Secretary and the Our Ladies of the Angels Womens Auxillary where she served as Treasurer . She enjoyed trips to the casino, crocheting and being with her family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by 3 children Carol Gagne (Husband Thomas) of Florida , Robin Chasse (Husband Roger) of Little Compton and Arthur C. Rapoza Jr. (Michelle Pelletier) of Tiverton, 6 grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren. She also leaves a brother James (Chubby) Goncalo of Bristol, RI, several nieces and nephews and was predeceased by 7 sisters and 2 brothers. Visitation TUESDAY from 4-8PM. Her Funeral will be held WEDNESDAY at 9am from the POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 462 Main Rd, Tiverton with a 10am Mass at St Theresa Church.
