Henry Ibbotson 91 of Tiverton, RI died on Jan. 12th. He was the husband of the late Mildred (Andrade) Ibbotson. Bon in Tiverton, he was the son of the late Helen (Higginson) and William Ibbotson. He had served in the US Navy and was a WWII Veteran. He had worked as a Boiler Room Engineer at the Bourne Mill and also at Dixie Brothers Movers. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Swansea, Mass. He was a great debator of politics. He is survived by a son Henry Ibbotson Jr.(wife Kathleen) of Warren, RI and and a daughter Shirley Stasiowski (husband Robert) of Swansea, MA. He also leaves his grandchildren Sheila, Michael and Henry Ibbotson III along with Holly Dinham He was the father of the late Sheila J. Ibbotson and grandfather of the late Amy Stasiowski. Great grandchildren are Desiree, Mikey, William, Alex, Avery, Marissa, Ilaria, Anthony, Amare and Andeen. Surviving siblings are Jack Ibbotson, Emily Holden and Grace Minor. He was predeceased by siblings Donald and William Ibbotson, Helen Reid, Ruth Hay, Marion Ormerod, Naomi Tribble and Sylvia Rousseau. His Funeral will be held Saturday with a Visitation prior to the Funeral from 9 to 10:30am at the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI .
