Hilda Santos Almeida 86 of King St., Fall River passed away on Friday. Born in Arrifes, Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Joao Arruda and Luisa (Massa) Santos. She had resided in the U.S. since Sept. 1960. She had worked as a Seamstress for 30 years at Darwood, Anderson Little and Bradley Scott.
She was a member of the Amalgamated Pension Fund.
She loved to listen to radio personalities Raul Benevides and Frank Baptista. A member of Good Shepherd Parish, she was an active member of the former Our Lady of The Angels Parish.
She is survived by her sons Manuel Almeida (Wife Sandra) of Somerset, John P. Almeida (Wife Patricia)
and her daughter Maria E. Desrosiers (Husband Paul E.), all of Fall River. She was the mother of the late Gil Almeida. She also leaves 8 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren. She was the sister of the late Joao
Arruda, Manuel Santos, Luisa Pereira and Odelia Benevides.
Visitation SUNDAY 6-8 PM. Her Funeral will be held MONDAY ay 10am from the A F ALMEIDA & SON
