John Kevin Pereira 62, better known as Kevin Pereira, 62 of Assonet, MA passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 26th. He was the husband of Lois (Souza) Pereira to whom he was married to for 37 years. Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of Charles Pereira and the late Hilda (Mendonca) Pereira. He had worked as a Vice President/Controller
for Compass Bank in New Bedford. He was a former member of W.H.A.L.E in New Bedford and Junior Achievement.
He had also been Proprietor of the former Assonet Pizza.
In addition to his wife and father, he leaves a daughter Alyson "Aly" Pereira and grandpets Diwana and Wandia Lois and the late Wayna, Diana and Bruin. He also leaves a brother Leslie Pereira (Wife Maria), a nephew Michael Pereira,a niece Tara Bemas, a greatniece Emma and a greatnephew Jack. In addition he leaves 2 aunts Pauline Trinidade and Lillian D'Oliveira.
Visitation TUESDAY 5- 8 PM. His Funeral will held WEDNESDAY at 9am from the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St, Fall River, MA. with a 10am Mass at St. Bernard Church in Assonet.
