James J. Rapoza 59 of Fall River, MA passed away on May 13, 2021.  Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of Ernest Rapoza and the late Leonilda (Mendonca) Rapoza. He had worked as chauffeur for the Commission of the Blind.  He is survived by his partner Maureen Carrita and 2 daughters Robyn Carrita and Kelly Rapoza Juanengo (Gilbert) and his grandchildren Alyssa Carrita, Samantha Carrita and Zachary Juanengo.  He also leaves a great grandchild Joseph Toni.  In addition he leaves his siblings Patricia Dubois, Susan Brilhante, Anthony Rapoza (Lynn), Kathleen Goulet (Jeff), Mary-Elizabeth Perry (Marc) and Timothy Rapoza (Donna).  He also leaves several nieces and nephews and was the brother of the late Ernest Rapoza (Susan) .  He was an avid boater and his granddaughter Alyssa was his First Mate.  Private Arrangements are with the A F Almeida & Son Funeral Home 1309 Globe St., Fall River, MA. www.almeida-pocasset.com
