James H. White, Jr., son of the late James H. White and Dorothy Robbins of Jackson, TN, passed away on 14 August 2020, just in time to reunite with his pre-deceased wife Nancy for what would have been their 61 ^st wedding anniversary.   James was 91, and a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.   He enjoyed a career in electrical engineering, and then spent over 25 years as a store clerk at Caboose Hobbies in Denver, CO where he shared his true passion for model railroading.   He loved playing the harmonica, birdwatching and chasing trains.  He is survived by his two sons, Michael White (wife Marietta) of Tiverton, RI;  and Mark White of San Francisco.  He will also be greatly missed by his two granddaughters, Amanda (partner Luke) of Fairbanks, AK and Marissa (husband Logan) of Denver, CO.  Visitation will be Friday August 21st from 5 to 7PM at the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI..  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the team that took such good care of James, Visiting Nurse Home and Hospice of Portsmouth, RI, at https://visitingnursehh.org/ .
