Janet (Delaney) Mattos 82 of Fall River, passed away on July 13th. She was the widow of Peter Mattos. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Josephine (Dupont) Bouchard and John Delaney. She had worked as a Floor Girl for James Sportswear of Fall River and was also a Homemaker.
She was a communicant of St Mary's Cathedral and a former member of the Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by a sister Barbara Moran of Melbourne, FL and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Bernice Zalzal and Joan Lunde.
Visitation Sunday from 4 to 7 PM. Her Funeral will be held Monday at 9am from the A F Almeida & Son Funeral Home 1309 Globe St., Fall River with a 10am Mass at St. Mary's Cathedral. Burial at Notre Dame cemetery. www.almeida-pocasset.com
