Jeanne (Claire L'Heureux) Simone 91, of Fall River passed away on July 27th.  She was the widow of Nicholas Simone.  Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Albert L'Heureux and Florida (Champagne) L'Heureux.  She was the loving mother of Jean Alexander and husband Lawrence and the late Thomas Whipp.  She also has a grandson Keith Botelho and 2 great grandchildren Kaitlyn and Ethan Botelho.  She had 2 brothers and several sisters along with several nieces and nephews.

She worked in the restaurant business for several years.  She had owned and operated Fred and Claire's Restaurant in North Carlina for many years.  She retired in New Jersey, then returned to Massachusetts to be with family.  Arrangements are with the  A F Almeida & Son Funeral Home.

A Mass will be held on on Monday, Aug. 19th at 10am at Holy Trinity Church on Stafford Rd, Fall River.
