Obituary

Jeffrey Michael Pacheco 70, of Fall River, MA, passed away Feb 13, 2019.  He was the husband of Jo-Ann (Parker) Pacheco.  Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Agnes (Botelho) and Joseph Pacheco.  Prior to his retirement, he had worked as a Police Officer for Veterans Affairs.  He had served in the US Navy and served on the USS  Saratoga. He received the National Defense Service Medal.  Jeffrey had belong to the American Legion and the Liberal Club where he had served as Past President, Past Vice President and as a Board of Director.  He had belonged to the Holy Name Society at the former St. Elizabeth Parish.  He was a communicant of Holy Trinity Parish.  An avid bird watcher and animal lover, he also loved to travel and loved the Tennesse Smoky Mountains.  He was a Boy Scout Leader.  In addition to his wife, he leaves his siblings John Pacheco (wife Sandy), Charles Pacheco (wife Pauline) Liz Souza, Joyce Cabral, Jim Pacheco (wife Diane), and Thomas Pacheco.  He was the brother of the late Joseph Pacheco.  He also leaves several nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews.  Visitation Monday from 8 to 9:30 am at the A F Almeida  Son Funeral Home 1309 Globe St, Fall River with a 10am Mass at Holy Trinity Church, Stafford Rd.  Cremation to follow. www.almeida-pocasset.com .  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
