Jeffrey "Jeff" M. Santos, 67, of Fall River, died on Monday, May 11, 2020, after a long illness.

He was the husband of Janice (Silvia) Santos. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Edmond "Minnie" Santos and the late Dolores M. Santos.

Jeff was a graduate of Bristol Community College and B.M.C. Durfee High School, and he worked for 32 years in both state and local government. Jeff also was an active member of the Fall River Lodge of Elks #118, where he had many friends.

As a youth, he was very active in scouting and local CYO sports. He remained an avid sports fan, and as a coach for the Milliken-Silva Basketball League and Bayside Little League, he provided compassionate guidance to his sons and their friends. Jeff also loved to travel, particularly to his favorite place, Aruba, where he visited annually for the past 20 years.

His children, grandchildren, and family were the source of great pride for Jeff. He cared deeply for his family and friends, and he most enjoyed spending time with them. Jeff lived to serve, and he often put the needs of others above his own. Giving to family and friends provided Jeff with ultimate joy, and he was loved by so many for his generosity and kindness.

In addition to his wife of 46 years, Jeff is survived by two sons, Eric Santos (Jennifer), and Jared Santos (Leeza), grandchildren, Isabella "Bella" Santos and Carter Santos, sister-in-law, Sheri Santos, nephews, Ryan Santos, Corey Santos, and Justin Santos, niece, Tara Silvia Dubois (David), brothers-in-law, Alan Silvia and Michael Silvia (Dale), extended family members, and many close friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Gregory M. Santos.

Services will be private but a celebration of Jeff's life will take place at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Fall River Lodge of Elks #118, In Memory of Jeff Santos, 4500 North Main St., Fall River, MA 02720 .
