In Loving Memory of Jesse Souza
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jesse, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Jesse was a hardworking man who never shied away from a challenge. When he wanted something, there was no stopping him. He was determined, persistent, and always willing to put in the work to get where he wanted to be. That dedication was reflected in his 42 years at Plymouth Rubber Company, where he devoted more than four decades of his life to his work. His commitment and loyalty were a true testament to the kind of man he was—dependable, dedicated, and proud of a hard day's work.
Jesse also had a wonderful sense of humor and a way of making people laugh and bringing his own unique personality into every room.
He enjoyed the outdoors and the adventures that came with it. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and snowmobiling, making memories along the way. And, of course, there was always time for the occasional trip to the casino—because a little luck never hurt anybody.
For 60 years, Jesse shared his life with his beloved wife, Anne. Together they built a life, raised a family, and created six decades of memories that will remain with their family forever.
Jesse leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years, Anne; his son, Jesse Jr., and his wife, Dawne; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will carry his memory and the stories of his life with them for generations to come.
Jesse will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His hard work, humor, determination, love of the outdoors, and the life he built with Anne will never be forgotten.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 10:00 AM in Good Shepherd Church, 1598 South Main Street, Fall River, MA. Burial will be private. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted.
