Joan L. Howard 84 of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016. She was the wife of the late Gordon R. Howard. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Bertha (Mahon) and Armand L'Archevesque. Joan was a Graduate of Dominican Academy in in 1949 and the Union Hospital School of Nursing in 1953. She had worked as a Registered Nurse for Charlton Memorial Hospital. She loved cooking, reading and enjoyed being with her family. Survivors are her five children; Gordon C. Howard and his wife Deb, Robert A. Howard and his wife Donna, Elizabeth A. Sears Howard, Paul A. Howard, Brian Howard and his wife Linda; nine grandchildren and a great grandchild. She leaves a sister Barbara Azbell and was predeceased by a brother Paul L'Archevesque.
