John M. Ferreira 75 of Tiverton, RI and Naples, FL died on Sunday. He was the husband of Monika F. (Kugler) Ferreira. Born in Tiverton, he was the son of the late Mary (Perry) Silveira and John Ferreira. He had served the the US Army. He had been a Lieutenant State Trooper with the State of RI. In addition to his wife, he leaves 3 sons John Ferreira, Thomas Ferreira, and Michael Ferreira, along with 2 grandchildren Nicole Ferreira and Mitchell T. Ferreira. In addition he leaves a sister Delores Martin of Arizona and several nephews.
Visitation WEDNESDAY from 5 to 8PM. His Funeral will be held THURSDAY with a service to commence at 10am in the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI. Burial at Pocasset Hiill, Tiverton. www.almeida-pocasset.com.
