MEDEIROS, John A., 53, of Tiverton, died Monday, November 28, 2016. He was the loving husband of Carolyn A. Frederick. Born in Fall River, he was a son of Eileen (Aguiar) Leander of Newport and the late John W. Medeiros. He was the step-son of the late Joseph Leander. Loving grandson of Mary (Silvia) Medeiros of Fall River and the late John R. Medeiros.

John worked as an arborist with the City of Newport for many years. He loved life, his family, and was an avid guitar player, boater, and motorcyclist

He also leaves his loving son, John Dillon Medeiros of Tiverton and his step-son, Joshua D. Paradise of Tiverton. Cherished grandfather of Kaeden Paradise & Ainsley Pradise of Tiverton. He was the brother of Michael Proulx of Portsmouth, Lisa Davis of Tiverton, Louis Amaral of Somerset, Lorie Proulx of Fall River, and the uncle of Lindsay Davis & Brian Davis of Tiverton. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, & cousins.

His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 11:00 am in POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 462 Main Rd. Tiverton. Relatives & friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00-7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to Hope Hospice, 1085 N.
