Joseph D. Braga, 72, of Tiverton, died December 29, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital.  He
was the loving husband of Maureen (Costa) Braga.  Born in Fall River, he was a son of
the late Joseph O. "Buddy" Braga and Mary (Costa) Braga.

Mr. Braga was employed as a purchasing agent with American Dryer in Fall
River.  Upon retirement, he worked at the Newport Naval Base.

He was a talented musician, saxophone player, and member of the American
Federation of Musicians, Local 216.  Active in Masonry, he was a member of St.
John's Lodge No. 1 AF & AM of Portsmouth and was a member of the Rhode Island
Shriners.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his siblings: Nelson Braga (wife Kathleen) of Fall
River, Rosemary Arruda (husband David) of Florida, and Bernadette Scarfo (husband
Dominic) of Billerica, MA.
He also leaves several nieces & nephews
His funeral and burial will be private.  Calling hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Faxon Animal Rescue League, 474 Durfee Street, Fall River, MA 02720 will be appreciated.
