Joseph F. Rebello R.Ph. passed away on Thursday. He was the husband of Janice E. (Nowak) Rebello. Born in New Bedford, MA, he was the son of the late Emelia (Santos) and Victor Rebello. He was the former co-owner of the Standard Pharmacy in Fall River, MA, with his late father-in-law Stanley Nowak
and his wife Janice Nowak Rebello. He was a Graduate of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and was a member of Phi Delta Fraternity.
He was a communicant of Holy Name Parish and a member of its St. Vincent de Paul Society. He had served in the US Army.
In addition to his wife Janice, he is survived by a sister Aida Rebello Souza of New Bedford and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 brothers Abel S. Rebello and Victor F. Rebello Jr., both were from New Bedford and a sister Hilda S. Riley who was from Fairhaven.
Visitation FRIDAY 4- 8 PM at the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St, Fall River, MA. His Funeral will be held SATURDAY with a 10am Mass at Holy Name Church 709 Hanover St, Fall River. Everyone is kindly asked to meet directly at the church.
