Joseph Souza 90, aka "Joe Tiger" of Fall River passed away Monday. He was the husband of the late Sizaltina "Sally"
(Rapozo) Souza. Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Antonia (Nunes) and Manuel Souza.
Prior to his retirement, he had worked in Maintenance at Pondville State Hospital. He had served in the Army
as a Corporal during WWII and later reenlisted into the Air Force.
He is survived by a daughter Lois Marie Pereira (Husband Kevin) of Assonet and a son Dennis Joseph Souza (Wife Patricia)
of Florida. He also leaves 3 granddaughters Melissa Barth, Aly Pereira & Andrea Connell, along with 4 great grandchildren
Alex Barth, Dennis James Barth, Olivia Connell & Jackson Connell and nieces & nephews.
Visitation SUNDAY 4-7 PM. His Funeral will be held MONDAY at 9am from the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME
1309 Globe St, Fall River, MA with a 10am Mass at St Bernard Church, Assonet. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery with MILITARY HONORS.
