JOYCE ANN ARRUDA
Joyce Ann (Rego) Arruda 60, of Swansea, passed away at her home on Sunday surrounded by her family after a brief illness of cancer. She was the wife of Thomas Arruda. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter
of the late Manuel and Mary Rego. She was a former employee of Joe's Family Restaurant and Friendly's
along with various other restaurants. She loved cruises, crafts and casinos. She also enjoyed Karaoke.
She is also survived by 2 sons Brandon Silva and Jameson Joaquim. She was the mother-in-law of Christine Yentz and the proud grandmother of Tyler Durfee. In addition, she leaves a brother Christopher Rego Sr. and a sister-in-law Carol Rego, along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation THURSDAY 4- 8 PM at the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St,
Fall River, MA with a Service at 5:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dana Farber Jimmy Fund Cancer Research Center.
