Karen  Ann  Simpson of  Swansea, MA went peacefully home to be with her  Lord and  Savior Jesus Christ on  Friday  September 12,  2025 at  St. Anne's  Hospital, surrounded by her children, grandchildren, sister, and  two Nieces as she  entered heaven to  reunite with her  beloved late husband, Al.  A woman of  deep  faith in Jesus  Christ and boundless love, Karon was a devoted mother and  grandmother whose generous spirit and joyful heart touched  everyone she met. Her sense of humor was unmatched - she was truly the life of  every  gathering - and her  warmth drew people in  effortlessly, Whether it was through a phone call, a  Dunkin coffee, or  a ride in her  car. Karon made others feel special and  cherished.

She is lovingly remembered by her four  children: Karyn Souza and Husband William  (Billy)  of Westport, MA; Allan Affonso and Wife Christine of  Fall River, MA; Karrie Hunter and Husband John of  Candia, NH ; and  Darlene Rosado of  Swansea, MA; She  also leaves behind her  stepson David Simpson of  Tiverton,  RI; nine  grandchildren: William (Billy) Souza, Jr.,  Rebecca (Becky) Roberts,  Brendan  Souza, Jordan Affonso, Jared Affonso, Nicole  Affonso, Timothy Hunter, Sarah Hunter, and Joshua Hunter,; nine great-grandchildren;  her  sister Shiela Oliveira and Husband Richard  of  Westport, MA, Her  cousin Dianne Orlando and  Husband Vincent of  Swansea, MA., three nieces; five nephews, many cousins and countless friends.

Karon predeceased  her husband, Alvin D. Simpson, and  her sister  Lynn Affonso.  She  treasured the memories of  riding their Triumph motorcycle and  enjoyed living and loving family in the  beautiful home  Al built for her.

A memorial service  will be  held on  Friday September 19, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at North Tiverton Baptist Church , 198 Main Road,  Tiverton,  RI.  Flowers are being  accepted at the  Church. A Private burial will follow..

Karon's light lives on in the  Hearts of  all who knew her.
