Lilian Louise (Cross)  Vincent, 86 of Tiverton was born on January 31st, 1937, and passed away on Tuesday, September 26th, 2023. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Lilian's life was a testament to her unwavering commitment to her family and her enduring care for their well-being.

Lilian's journey through life was one marked by devotion to others. She graduated from Somerset High School and embarked on a path that would lead her to create a cherished family of her own. On April 4, 1959, she married the love of her life, Norman Vincent, and together they shared 53 wonderful years of marriage until his passing.

Lilian was blessed with a close-knit family. She is survived by her beloved sister, Elaine Sullivan, who shared countless cherished memories and nightly calls with her. Although her brother, Ralph Cross, preceded her in death, Lilian is remembered fondly by her many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, who all held a special place in her heart.

Family was Lilian's top priority, and she devoted her life to caring for them. She was a doting mother to her two sons and their wives, Michael and Jennifer of Berkley, MA and David and Erika of Lakeville MA and her grandchildren: Abigail, Ryan, Izzy and Annie. She cherished every moment spent with them.

Before starting her own family, Lilian spent time working alongside her family in their flower shop on Hood Street in Fall River, creating beautiful arrangements that brought joy to many.

Lilian will be fondly remembered for many things. Her annual Christmas clam boils brought warmth and laughter to countless celebrations, creating cherished traditions for her family to hold dear.

Lilian was a pillar of strength, a loving heart, and a cherished presence in the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy of commitment and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. As we say our goodbyes, we celebrate the life of Lilian, a woman who truly understood that family is everything.

A celebration of Lilian's life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 9am from the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home 462 Main Rd., Tiverton, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton at 10am.  Burial at Pocasset Hill.  Visitation Friday from 5:30 to 7:30pm.
