Lorraine Marie Carrier 85, formerly of Tiverton, where she resided for about 25 years, died on Wednesday
in Middletown. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Adrienne (Cyr) and Rene Desjardins. Prior to her retirement in 1987, she had worked as a Dispatcher for the Tiverton Police Department.
She is survived by a daughter Donna Farrea of Portsmouth, RI and a son David Robert Carrier of Roslindale, MA. She also leaves a grandson Scott Dionne and a greatgrandaughter Emma Dionne. She also leaves a brother Maurice Desjardins of Middletown along with several nieces and nephews. Visitation SATURDAY
