On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, Lorraine Massa, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at age 90. Lorrie was born on November 19, 1931 in Fall River, MA to Albert and Eva Azeredo.

On June 17, 1950, Lorrie married the love of her life, John R. Massa. Together they raised two sons, Jay and Michael, and daughter, Mari.

Lorrie had a passion for painting. She also loved to garden, watch the birds, decorate for the holidays and take rides through Little Compton with a cone of maple walnut ice cream from Grays.  When she combined her favorite hobbies, she created extraordinary art that her family continues to treasure. Lorrie loved her family, a hot cup of tea and a game of scrabble. She will always be remembered for her kind heart, strong belief in God, gentle laughter and "oh Johnny!" that could be heard across the room.

Lorrie was preceded in death by her father, Albert, and her mother, Eva as well as her Sister, Elsie. She is survived by her husband John and their three children, Jay Massa and his wife Bernadette Massa, Michael Massa, and his partner Debbie Vendituoli as well as Mari Burns and her husband Tom Burns. She is also survived by her loving sister Betty Richards and her husband Ray Richards. Lorrie's pride and joy were her grandchildren, Shane Massa, Ali Massa, Micaela Kirby and her husband Ian Kirby, Colin Massa, Corey Burns and Nolan Burns. She adored her four great-grandchildren Hadley Massa, Killian Massa, Kelley Kirby, and Declan Kirby.

Visitation Sunday from 4 to 7 PM.  Her Funeral Will be held on Monday Nov. 29th at 9am from the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI with a 10am Mass at Holy Trinity Church on Stafford Rd., Fall River, MA at 10am.  Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery. www.ameida-pocasset.com .
