Manuel Moniz Carreiro 93 of Fall River, passed away on Oct. 19th. He was the widower of Maria Lourdes Furtado. Born in Porto Formaso, Azores, he was the son of the late Ricarda DoRosario Moniz and Joao Carreiro Ferreira. Prior to his retirement he had worked in the Agricultural field. He had served in the Portuguese army. Mr. Carreiro was a member of the Christian Evangelica Church.He is survived by his children Viriato Carreiro, Margarida Teixeira, Paulina Silva and Madalena Martins, He was the father of the late Fernando Carreiro. He also leaves 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
