Manuel F. Melo 82 of Boyden St, Fall River died on Monday. He was the husband of the late Isaltina (Medeiros) Melo. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, he was the son of the late Francelina (Carroca) and Luis Reis Melo. Prior to his retirement, he had worked in the Deck Hardware Department at Black Watch and Pearson Yachts. He is survived by a son Louis J. Melo and 3 grandchildren Eric, Casey and Brandon Louis Melo along with a greatgrandson Nicholas Helder Melo. He was a member of the St Anthony Band Club. Visitation THURSDAY from 5-8 PM. His Funeral will be held FRIDAY at 8am from the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St., Fall River with a 9am Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church where he was a member.
