Manuel Arruda Moniz 78 of Fall River, MA passed away on February 7, 2021. He was the husband of Alice (Pereira) Moniz. Born in St Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Alice (Arruda) and Jose Moniz. He had worked as a Laborer in Construction and was a member of the Sociedade Lusitania. In addition to his wife, he leaves his children Isabel Santos (Paul), Anna DaCamara (Paul) and Paul Moniz. Grandchildren are Alex DaCamara, Tanisha DaCamara, Brendan Santos, Daymian Moniz, Alyvia Moniz and Sean Santos. He also leave his siblings Victor Moniz and Maria Fatima Brum.
His Funeral will be held on Thursday with a Mass at St Marys's Cathedral at 10am. Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery. A walk through Visitation will be held
prior to the Mass from 8:30 to 9:30am at the A F Almeida & Son Funeral Home 1309 Globe St., Fall River, MA. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines to be followed. www.almeida-pocasset.com. Please Omit Flowers. Monetary donations to the family will be appreciated.
