Marcia Koterbay, the wife of Robert Koterbay, passed away on March 23, 2023. A resident of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, she was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and was the daughter of the late Florence and Anthony Hominik and sister of Kenneth and David.

She is survived by her son Scott Contreras-Koterbay and his wife Karlota, her daughter Amy Koterbay, her son Daniel Koterbay and his wife Shu Mei Huang, and her grandchildren Kaitlyn Koterbay, Anton Contreras-Koterbay, Sebastian Koterbay, and Josephine Koterbay. Marcia was predeceased by her son Paul Koterbay.

Marcia loved working in her garden and took great pride in entertaining family and friends with her cooking and baking. Marcia touched many lives and is remembered as a thoughtful, generous and kind wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 14th from 5 to 8 pm at the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home 462 Main Rd., Tiverton, RI. Her Funeral will be held on Saturday, April 15th at 9am from the Funeral Home with a Mass at 10am at St. Barnabas Church in Portsmouth. Burial is at St Mary's Episcopal Cemetery. Please visit www.almeida-pocasset.com for the on-line guestbook. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
