Margaret A. Dennis' Obituary
Margaret Ann Rogers Dennis was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi, county of Jackson on March 1,1943. She was born to Mackie and Lois (Kelly) Rogers, both of Mississippi.
Margaret graduated from The Sanitarium School of Nursing in Independence, Missouri, as an RN. She worked in Pascagoula, MS at Singing River Hospital. After retiring, she moved to Little Compton, Rhode Island, 25 years ago and has made it her home since then.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Dennis of Kansas City, Missouri, her parents, Mackie Rogers and Lois Rogers, a brother, Malcom L. Rogers and a niece, Karen R. Tackett. She is survived by her brothers McIlwain (Lawanda) Rogers, Mark (Cindy) Rogers,
her sisters Rosemary (Huey) Walker and Tammy (Mike) Sanderford. Margaret has a large family of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was the companion of the late Janice Marchand. She also leaves her extended family Delores McGuire, Robert Murphy, Kevin McGuire, Matthew McGuire, Susan Worthen, Brian Rodrigues and their families.
A Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 1st, from 5 to 7 PM with a Service at 6:30 PM at the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI.
