Marguerite (Morgan) Holmes 96 of Fall River, MA,
Died at home on March 24, 2023 after a short illness.
Widow of Willie F. Holmes, Mother of Duncan Holmes and Richard Holmes. Born in Natchez, MS, she was the daughter of the late Duncan Morgan and Marguerite Morgan.
She leaves a brother Duncan Morgan, a sister Thelma Morgan Jones and was predeceased by sisters Mary Agnes Morgan and Patricia (Morgan) Minnis.
She was a Teacher at St Francis School
in Natchez, MS
from 1945 -1949. She worked at Fall River Head Start from 1966 to 1980 and
Citizens for Citizens Home Day Care from 1984 to 2002. She was a proud Navy wife and loved to crochet and read Mystery books.
Visitation Wednesday 5 to 7 PM. Funeral Thursday at 9am from A F Almeida & Son Funeral Home 1309 Globe St, Fall River with Services to commence at 10am. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery.
