Maria J. Cabral, 83, of Fall River, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on December 5, 2025.  She was the wife of Jose D. Cabral.  Born in Ponta Delgada, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Luis Cordeiro and Ana (da Silva) Cordeiro.

Mrs. Cabral was employed with housekeeping at Charlton Memorial Hospital for many years until her retirement.  She was a Communicant of Good Shepherd Parish.

In addition to her husband, she leaves her loving children: Mary Jo Cabral of Seekonk, Joseph M. Cabral of Seekonk, Pedro C. Cabral of Fall River, and Susan A. Cabral of Fall River.  Cherished grandmother of Barry R. Hebert of Fall River, Sierra Mack of Fall River, Serena Mack of Fall River, and great-grandmother of Ryatt Cabral of New Bedford.  She was the sister of Jose Cordeiro of Canada and the late Luis Cordeiro and Henrique Cordeiro.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. in Holy Trinity Church, 951 Stafford Road, Fall River.  Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
