Maria Conceicao (Raposo) Oliveira 92 of Fall River, MA died on Sunday. She was the wife of the late Clementino S. Oliveira. She is survived by 2 daughters Vivian Oliveira and Marie Oliveira Azza and several nieces and nephews. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Serhorinha (Arruda) and Jose Raposo. She was the sister of the late Gilda Jacinto and Maria Souza.
Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a Machine Operator in the Garment Industry and was a member of Holy Trinity Parish. She was a member of the Our Lady of the Angel Seniors, the former Our Lady of Health Women's Guild and Holy Rosary Sodality, the Happy Group Seniors and the Portuguese Vets Women Auxillary. She was also a member of the I.L.G.W.U.
Visitation FRIDAY 4 - 7 PM. Her Funeral will be held SATURDAY at 8 am from the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St Fall River, MA with a Mass at Holy Trinity Church at 9 am. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery. www.almeida-pocasset.com.
