Maria C. Costa, 84, of Tiverton, died peacefully on February 25, 2026 at Silver Creek Nursing Home.  She was the wife of the late Eduardo J. Costa.  Born in Ponta Garca, Portugal, she was one of seven children to the late Jose Do Couto Amaral and Maria Pacheco De Frias Amaral.

Mrs. Costa was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family.  She loved gardening, knitting, crocheting, baking, and taking fishing trips with her husband.

She leaves her loving children: Eduarda Margaret Fournier of Somerset, Mario H. Costa & his wife Susan of Warren, Jeffrey Costa & his wife Flo of Assonet, and Kimberly Brent & her husband Travis of Fort Worth, TX.  She was the mother of the late Alvaro E. Costa and Almerinda Melo.  Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.  She also leaves many nieces & nephews.

Her graveside service at Pocasset Hill Cemetery will be private.  Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
