Maria Ilda (Pereira) daSilva 89 of Fall River died on Monday. She was the widow of Manuel Ferreira daSilva.

Born in Faial daTerra, Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Lidoina and Joaquim Antao

Pereira. She had worked as a Sewing Machine Operator in the Textile Industry. She is survived by a

son Manuel P. daSilva (Wife Lurdes) of Somerset and a daughter-in-law Maria Ilda daSilva of Fall River.

She was the mother of the late Joao daSilva. She also leaves 3 grandaughters Ana Araujo, Susan daSilva and Nelly Floriano along with 4 great grandchildren. Visitation FRIDAY 6-8 PM. Her Funeral will be held SATURDAY at 8am from the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St Fall River, MA with a Mass at 9am at Espirito Santo Church.
