MEDEIROS, Maria Natalia, 93, of Fall River, died peacefully at home on Thursday, August 27, 2015. Born in São Miguel, Açores, she was a daughter of the late Manuel de Sousa Frizado and Mariana da Encarnacao. She was the wife of the late Joaquim C. Medeiros.

Mrs. Medeiros worked as a housekeeper for many years until her retirement. In her earlier years, she worked at the Fall River Knitting Mills on Alden Street. She was a Communicant of Espirito Santo Church and a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Club.

She leaves her loving children: Eduardo C. Medeiros of São Miguel, Açores , Fernando C. Medeiros of Fall River, Margarida Cabral of Fall River, and Imaculada Pereira of Westport. Cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren, one late granddaughter, and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by five brothers and one sister.

Her Funeral will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 9:00 am from POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 462 Main Rd. Tiverton with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Espirito Santo Church, 311 Alden St. Fall River. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
