Maria Rodrigues da Côrte Patricio died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014, at Southpointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Fall River. She was 91 years old.
Born in Funchal, Madeira, Maria was the daughter of João and Jezuina da Côrte, and one of six siblings.
She immigrated to the United States with her family in 1968 and had lived in Fall River ever since.
Maria leaves her husband, Carlos, to whom she was married for 67 years.
She is also survived by her daughter Mary Grace Lopes and husband Tony, of Tiverton, R.I.; her sons Roy Patricio and wife Susie, of Texas, and Carlos Patricio; her grandchildren Ashley Schuler, Derek Lopes and David and Daniela Patricio; and her great-grandchild, Max.
She also leaves a sister, Celestina Horvath, of England, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held FRIDAY from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at A.F. ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1309 Globe St., Fall River, followed by an 11 a.m. funeral Mass at Good Shepherd Parish, 1598 S. Main St., Fall River. Burial will be at Notre Dame Cemetery on Stafford Road. www.almeida-pocasset.com
