Maureen (Lane) True 88, wife of the late Edwin A. True, married for 58 years before his passing and mother of the late Kathleen Mary (True) Medeiros died on August 23rd at the Grace Barker Health Care Center.  She was the daughter of the late Everett Lane Sr. and Lottie Lane.  She lived in Tiverton all of her life.  She was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School Class of 1953.  She worked 6  years in the insurance office of the late  Maury Kusinitz and then spent the next 35 years working in her parent's restaurants Lane's BarBQ and the Midway Restaurant.  The last 15 years she was a partner with her sister Ella Sullivan.  She leaves her special sister the Rev. Elizabeth L. Nelson (Husband Joel) of Florida.  She was the sister of the late Everett (Buddy) Lane and the late Ella J. Sullivan.  She also leaves the best nephews, nieces and friends that anyone could ever wish for.
Visitation Tuesday, Sept. 3rd from 5 to 8PM.  Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 4th at 9am from the
Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home 462 Main Rd., Tiverton, RI with a 10am Mass at St. Theresa Church, Tiverton and Burial at Pocasset Hill.  In lieu of flowers, donations may me made to the Tiverton Fire Department.  www.almeida-pocasset.com
