Mildred (Oliveira) Martin 88 of the Maplewood section of Fall River River, MA died on Thursday. She was the wife of the late Alfred Martin. Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Maria (Raposo) and Antone Oliveira. Prior to her retirement, she has worked as an Assembler at Firestone and was also a Homemaker.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and its Women's Guild and had also belonged to the former St. Elizabeth's Guild.
She is survived by a daughter Diane Martin of Fall River and was the mother of the late Cheryl Ann Martin. She also leaves her grandchildren that she raised after her daughter's death Andrew Martin, Amanda Dalton and Joshua Dalton. In addition she leaves great grandchildren Dante Martin, Camryan Dalton and Cayden Dalton. She raised many generations of children and was helpful with her great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Lorraine Healy and she was the sister of the late George Oliveira, Antone Oliveira, Sarah Torres and Tobias Oliveira.
