Olive Clara (Lopes) Silvia 86 of Tiverton, formerly of 351 Canonicus St. died on Monday. She was the widow of Charles E. Silvia Sr. Born in Tiverton, she was the daughter of the late Helena N. (Correira) and Manuel J. Lopes. A Homemaker, she had previously worked at sewings shops as a machine operator and also in the restaurant industry. She was a member of Holy Ghost Parish and the VFW Ladies Auxillary.
She is survived by her children Pauline Burdick of Kansas, Debbie Quinto of Florida, Chuck Silvia Jr., Lois Rutter and Diane Furtado, all of Tiverton, 8 grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren. She was predeceased by 7 brothers and 6 sisters. Visitation WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM. Her Funeral will be held THURSDAY in the POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 462 Main Rd, Tiverton with a Service to commence at 9am. Burial at Pocasset Hill Cemetery. www.almeida-pocasset.com
