Olivia D. Mello 88, formerly of Orswell St, Fall River, died on Thursday at the Somerset Ridge Center.
Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Maria C. (Mello) and Francisco Mello.
Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a Private Secretary at Clearview Manufacturing.
She was a communicant of Good Shepherd Parish and had received the Marian Medal while a parishioner of Our Lady of the Angels Parish.
She was the sister of the late Manuel Mello, Albertine Mello. and Charles Mello. She is survived by her godchildren Geraldine Moniz of Swansea and Elizabeth Calenzo of Fall River.
There are no calling hours. Her Funeral will be held TUESDAY to which relative and friends are invited to
a Mass at Good Shepherd Church 1598 S. Main St Fall River at 11am. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St.Jude Children's Research Hospital PO BOX 50 Memphis, TN 38101. Arrangements are with the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St, Fall River,MA.
