Patricia A. (Virdinlia) Grinnell 79, of Tiverton, RI passed away on June 30th. She was the wife of Donald E. Grinnelll to whom she was married to for 57 years. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Loretta (Fournier) and William Virdinlia. She was a 1956 Graduate of Mount St. Mary High School. A Registered Nurse, she had a 50 year career in the Hospital Industry, mostly at the former Union Hospital. Later she ended her career in geriatric care. She was a member of the Union Hospital Alumni Assoc. A communicant of St. Christopher's Parish, she was also a member of its Women's Guild.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Donna L. Croft and a son Scott E. Grinnelll (Wife Susan) and grandchildren, Benjamin D. Croft (Kayla Walker) and Jeremy E. Grinnell. She also leaves a great grandson Jaxson N. Croft and a brother Paul Virdinlia (Wife Joan). Visitation Thursday from 4 to 7 PM. Her Funeral will be held Friday at 10am from the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI with an 11am Mass at St. Christopher's Church.
