Patrick J. Fingliss, 85, of Tiverton, died peacefully on August 28, 2026 at Elmhurst  Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.  He was the loving husband of Vivianne A. (LaBrecque) Fingliss.  Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Patrick V. Fingliss and Mary (Dubienny) Fingliss.

Mr. Fingliss was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School and Bradford Durfee Technical Institute.  He worked as an Executive Planner for the State of Rhode Island and Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corp. for many years until his retirement.   He enjoyed gardening, reading, movies, stamp collecting, and was an avid New England Patriots fan.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his loving sons, Christopher P. Fingliss of Tiverton and Douglas P. Fingliss and his wife Erin McEntee of Tiverton.  He was the brother of the late Anna Falvey and Joseph P. Fingliss.  Cherished uncle of nephews, Kevin Falvey, Patrick V. Fingliss, Joseph P. Fingliss, Jr., David Rooney; nieces Deborah Vasconcellos, Colleen Falvey, Jayne Fingliss MacDonald, Mary Fingliss, Lisa Rooney and Allyson LaRue.

His funeral service will be held Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 11:00 AM in POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 462 Main Road, Tiverton.  Burial will follow in Pocasset Hill Cemetery.

Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association will be appreciated.
