Rachel M. Anselmo (Gendreau), 32, of Tiverton RI, passed away on June 1, 2017 after a hard fought battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of Jacob Anselmo and mother to Sophia Rae Anselmo and Henry Albert Anselmo. Rachel was the daughter of the late Raymond Gendreau and Denise Gendreau (Souza) of Fall River, MA. She also leaves behind her dear brother, Kevin R. Gendreau, grandmother Jeannette Carro (Gendreau), of Swansea MA, Godfather Dennis Gendreau of Westport MA, Godmother Cheryl DeSa (Souza) of Somerset MA, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Rachel graduated from B.M.C. Durfee High School in 2002. She spent the last 7 years working at Family Ties Restaurant in Tiverton, RI. Rachel enjoyed nothing more than spending quality time with her family and friends, especially her children. She is best known for the joy she brought to others as well as her positivity and strength, even during the toughest of times.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16 from 3:00-8:00 at Pocasset Funeral Home, 462 Main Rd. Tiverton. A celebration of Rachel's life will be held the following day, Saturday, June 17 at 11:00, also at Pocasset Funeral Home.
