Richard M. Dussault, aka "Shanty" age 83, of Fall River, MA and formerly of Port Charlotte, FLA and
Tiverton, RI, passed away December 5, 2013. He was the beloved husband of the late Phyllis (Roux)
to whom he was married to for 54 years. Born in Fall River, MA to the late Louis and Amanda Dussault and
he was educated in the Fall River School System.
Prior to his retirement he worked as an engineer at the naval Underwater Systems Center in Newport, RI.
His hobbies included golf, walking, bowling and watching the New England Sports teams.
Besides his widow he was the father of the late Richard S. Dussault, Karen A. Dussault of Fall River and
Barbara J. Dussault of Woburn. He was the brother of the late Norman Dussault and leaves a sister Delores Bonus (husband James). He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corp. in 1954.
Following cremation, a Mass will be held on Friday, Dec. 13th at 10am. Burial to follow at Pocasset Hill
Cemetery, Tiverton. A luncheon in his memory will immediately follow at McGovern's Restaurant, Fall River, MA. Arrangements are with the POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 462 Main Rd., Tiverton, RI.
