Robert J. Bessette Jr. 65 of Swansea, passed away on Feb. 3rd. He was the husband of Rose Marie (Martin) Bessette to whom he was married to for 41 years. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Claire (Farabini) Beaty and Robert J. Bessette. He was the stepson of the late Fred E. Beaty. Prior to his retirement, he had worked as a Bindery operator for E. A. Johnson in East Providence. He was an avid car builder and race car enthusiast. He enjoyed football and working in his greenhouse.
In addition to his wife, he leaves 2 sisters Cathy Beaty and Judith Tobin. He also leaves his godchildren Jason Viveiros, Meagan Morais, Eric Xavier, Ashley Paquette, Joshua Boland and Amanda Medeiros. He also leaves his dogs Shelby and Ruby. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Visitation MONDAY from 5 to 8PM. His Funeral will be held TUESDAY at 9am from the POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME
