Robert Proulx 93, of Fall River, MA passed away on August 30, 2023.  He was the husband of the late Gloria (Fontes) Proulx.  Born in Fall River, he was son of the late Augustine (Levesque) and Napoleon Proulx.
Robert was a Firefighter for 32 years and had reached the rank of District Chief.    He was a US Navy Corpsman and had served in the Korean War Theater for a year aboard the USS Consolation.  He had liked to travel with his late wife and enjoyed gardening, woodworking and fishing.  He was filled with stubborn determination.     He is survived by 3 sons Robert Proulx (wife Jackie) of Florida, Mike Proulx (wife Annette) of Clemson, SC and Dave Proulx (wife Pam) of Fall River, along with 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by 3 sisters and a brother.  His Funeral will be held on Thursday, Sept. 7th with a Service in the A F Almeida & Son Funeral Home 1309 Globe St., Fall River at 11am.  Visitation prior from 9 to 11am.
