Robert E. St Laurent passed away peacefully on June 2nd at the Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI. He was the husband of Mary Lou (Souza) St Laurent and the late Lucy (Sousa) St Laurent. Born in Portsmouth, RI in 1936 to the late Victor and Auxilia (Bosse) St Laurent. He leaves behind sons John St Laurent (partner Trisha) of Portsmouth, Roger (Debra) St Laurent of Tiverton and daughter Linda Tripp of Assonet. Grandchildren including James St Laurent (Kerri), Amanda St Laurent (partner David), Michael Tripp (Amelia), Mark Tripp (Samantha), Robby Tripp (partner Amber). Great grandchildren Aiden, Evan, Riley, Danny, Lucy, Oscar, Carson, Mark, and Ada. Stepdaughters Betsy Medeiros (Marc) of Middletown, Amy Field (David) of Tiverton, Alison Souza (Scott) of Patten, ME, Melanie Daignault (Roland) of Westport. Step grandchildren Ashley, Ethan, Evan, and Kyla. Brothers Victor St Laurent (Maureen) and David St Laurent (Terry). Predeceased by step granddaughter Alicia.

A graduate of Blessed Sacrament School in Fall River, MA and De La Salle Academy in Newport, RI. He served his country in the Rhode Island National Guard for 8 years. He was employed at Stone Bridge Marina and Kaiser Aluminum in Portsmouth, RI and Quaker Fabric Corp. in Fall River, MA. He was a Past Grand Knight of Fr. Boehr Council Tiverton, RI; was the Fourth Degree State Master Secretary for the Rhode Island Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. He was involved in many charities for the Knights of Columbus and the Tiverton Ambulance service. He enjoyed calling Bingo at the Knights of Columbus in Tiverton for 45 years and the Tiverton Senior Center; was Lector and Eucharistic Minister at Holy Ghost Church in Tiverton for over 40 years. He is a Red Sox and Patriots fan forever.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday, June 8th at the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI.  His Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, June 9th in the Funeral Home with Burial to follow at Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Forever Paws, 300 Lynwood St, Fall River, MA 02721 or the HopeHealth Hulitar Center, 1085 N Main St, Providence, RI 02904.  www.almeida-pocasset.com.
