Roger R. Michel 78 of Tiverton, RI passed away on November 2, 2023.  He was the husband of Linda Faye (Pannell) Michel.
Born in Tiverton, RI, he was the son of the late Bertha (Perrault) and Lucien Michel.  An electrician by trade, he had worked for New England Power at Brayton Point Station, where he served as the Electrical Department Foreman. Later he also worked at Narragansett Electric
He was a member of the Tiverton Rod & Gun Club,
and his interests were diving, golfing, boating, fishing and archery.  He had served in the US Air Force.
He was a communicant of Holy Ghost Church.
In addition to his wife, he leaves 3 children Karen Turner (Roger), Kevin Michel (Kim) and Kenneth Michel (Courtney).  He also leaves 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a sister Lucille Raymond.  Spending time with his beloved family and friends was the greatest joy of his life.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 7th from 5 to 8 pm at the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI.  His Funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 8th at 9am from the Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at Holy Ghost Church.  Burial will be private.  http://www.almeida-pocasset.com.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis., TN 39105 in his memory.
