Roland Lucien Dumas 96 of Fall River, MA. passed away on February 11, 2021.  He was the husband of the late Dorothy A. (Simpson) Dumas.  Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Octavie (Poitras) and Paul Dumas.  He had served in both the US Navy and Coast Guard and was a WWII Veteran.  Roland was also a Seebee.  A truck driver, he had worked for Firestone Rubber.  He was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal employees.  He was also a member of the American Legion, Post 303 of Swansea.

Roland is survived by 2 sons and a daughter, Donald Dumas of North Carolina, Carl Dumas of Tiverton, RI and Sandra Cleary of Somerset, MA.  He also leaves 5 grandchildren, Carl "Barry" Dumas, Jeff Dumas, Tambra Holt, John Cleary and Scott Dumas, along with 9 grandchildren.
