Rose B.
Grace
Jan 19, 1936 — Feb 3, 2026
Rose Blanche Grace age 90 passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026.
She grew up in Westport, MA and was later married to the late Joseph G. Grace of Fall River for nearly 53years. Rose was the daughter of Roland and Corinne Imbeau. She was one of seven siblings; Julian, Robert, Roland, Paul, Norman, and Claudette.
Rose is survived by her two sons; Steven Grace of Somerset and Matthew Grace of Fall River, her younger sister Claudette Charette of Fall River, two grandchildren; Steven Grace and Sarah Grace, and six great grandchildren; Mariah Grace, Benjamin Grace, Hannah Grace, Amelia Grace, Bella Lemieux, and Marco Raposo.
Rose worked at the Pleasant Curtain and Stella Anne textile mills as well as Sparkle Cleaners where she was a presser. She was an avid gardener and loved to cook. She was also an accomplished seamstress making themajority of her own clothes as well as many gifts for others throughout her life. Bowling was her sport, where she once won a trophy for a mother/son competition and then played in a senior league later in her late 70's.
Rose would often be seen driving her 1966 red Mustang convertible around town and loved cruising with her husband Joe in their many classic cars. She also loved carousels and would frequent the Fall River Carousel often. Some of her more unconventional accomplishments include maintaining a motorcycle license well into her 60's, helping repair the interior upholstery of some of the classic cars
her husband restored, and riding in a hot air balloon.
Rose was never afraid to try something new and truly knew how to enjoy life.
