Rose (Rashed) Motta 96 of Tiverton, died on Tuesday. She was the wife of Edward Motta, to whom she was married to for 51 years. Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Sadie (Tamer) and George Rashed. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a Floor Lady at Fall River Knitting Mills.
She was a lifelong member of St. Anthony of the Desert Parish and a Member of Its Women's Guild.
An Avid gardener, she lover her yard and her flowers. She loved to travel.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sisters Angelina Khoury, Lydia Viveiros and Mary Santerre. She also leaves nieces/nephews: Christine Lake, E. Thomas Khoury, James Khoury, Charlene Joaquim, Peter George, John Viveiros and Clifford Massoud. She leaves several great nieces & greatnephews and a greatgreatniece.
