Obituary

Scott Matthew Mulcahy 52 of Tiverton, RI, passed away on June 15, 2021.  He was the husband of Sheila Ann (Arruda) Mulcahy.  Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of Robert Mulcahy and the late Julianne (Rondeau) Mulcahy.  He had worked for the Stone Bridge Water Fire District for 26 years as a Foreman. Prior to that he had worked at Humphrey's Building Supply in Tiverton, RI.
In addition to his father and wife, he leaves 2 daughters Tara Mulcahy and Audrey Mulcahy.  He also leaves a  sister Dawn Mulcahy and a brother Charles Mulcahy.  Stepdaughters are Stephanie Valente (Nathan) and Ashley Arruda.  Grandchildren are Damian, Dalton, Chayce, Ella and Grayson.  Nephews are Matthew Mulcahy and Tyler Mulcahy along with Steven Mulcahy & nieces Katie Mulcahy and Debbie Mulcahy.  He  also leaves his in laws Janice and Davis Smith and his former wife Cheryl Mulcahy, along with several cousins.
Following cremation, a Visitation will be held on  Tuesday June 29th  from  4:30 to 6:30 PM at the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI . www.almeida-pocasset.com for on line guest book.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Christmas at Citizens for Citizens in his memory.  A reception will be held immediately following at the V.F.W. in Tiverton.
